WHAT WE DO

Community
councils are voluntary groups of people who give their time to, and have a
genuine interest in their community. They usually meet once a month, and
their main role is to represent their local community.
They
should consult the local community and put forward their views to the local
authority and other organisations including the Scottish Parliament, NHS Lothian
and the police.
